I drill a hole in the back.of the can an broke off the safety garbage for the can at home. How ever I do carry an empty can in the trailer for the event at a show if I run low I can always go get more

Those new cans work OK once you hacksaw that nozzle off and drill a vent hole. I still use metal cans with screw on lids.

I haven't needed to break down and buy new "safety" cans at home yet, these have held up fine for 40 years or so. I think the 5 gallon jerry can may be from WWII as the lettering stamped in it is all German.

We seem to have a lot of problems with the modern ones at work, metal and plastic, but they always buy the cheapest crap they can get.

You all may want to investigate "Blitz replacement water jug spout"

I second that!

I had one of these break when I was using it and then was worried a spring or something went in my fuel tank. What junk.
