No offense, but that fuel can looks like a pile of doo doo.

After having my Justrite for a while now, I prefer my Eagle can.

yeah but plastic cans don't rust.  but when they wear out the new epa ones i have to drill holes in or they spill more gas on the ground than any fumes that may get out.

People now snap up old plastic cans at yard sales pretty quick.

I actually dont mind the newest style cans. The valve at the end prevents spills trying to get the nozzle in the tank when the can is full. The lever to open the valve holds the front up and you can stabilize the rest with 1 hand while enjoying a beverage with the other. it may be a little slower, but if it is speed you want, take it off and get a funnel.

Can't go three steps ahead on safety and look back and back-up two.  You old guys gotta Modernize, get on the boat with these things.  Hee!  ON those cans, I have neat ones that have a short spout, then a button on back to push once it is in pour position. I LIKE it!  I can tilt all over and no spills, runs when I push button, like Magic!  Those kind with the longer spouts and the outer pull-back release DO seem like pia tho.  What's even more intersting is you Can NOT buy a spout seperate anymore that isn't this safety kind like you used to be able to buy in past. It won't matter much in 30yrs anyway, most items will be some sort of battery or other type propulsion and gas will only be needed by the "old-timers" trying to keep the old stuff running.  Hey, maybe in future, owning any vehicle or engine device over 20yrs old will be "illegal"!!   They will MAKE everyone turn-over the items and re-new, just because!  Big Brother demands it.

There is an easy way to make these goofy cans work much better.  It involves a valve stem.  I did this to my diesel cans and it works great!
