howdy,

Picked this little lawn tractor about 3 years ago in Attica IA. It survived a large tornado and was somehow totally undamaged. It was able to go and mow right out the box but now is dying on me. Just wondering if this has any value to WH collectors before I put it on the internet to sell. I have tried to research this WH but come up totally blank so far.

Scotty Dog, First off, I want to WELCOME You to GT talk. Is there a model tag on it anywhere, and what engine does it have? I will do a little research for you. I believe it to be from the mid to late 70's, but I am at work and don't have my W.H. Data book with me. I know that W.H. started to make Rear Engine Rider's after they aquired REO mowers in the early 60's, but I don't know how long into the 70's they still producted them. There are collectors for this tractor.

Wheel Horse producted R.E.R. through 1984....

 scotty dog Welcome to GTTalk! Glad to have you with us! Thanks for the pics. That's an interesting piece that you have there. There is info available on it, if you could post some numbers, we might be able to get you an idea as to the age and specifications. As far as values go, I'm afraid I can't help you there. It's definitely a nice piece though!

Yes. What you're looking at is a Whell Horse REO RR (Riding Rotary Mower) or a Lawn Skiff. Probably 1967-1978 or so. Post the number and I'm sure I have a manual around somewhere/

Howdy,
Here are some more photos of my wee lawn tractor. It has a 7hp Tecumseh engine. I will have to try to read the ID plate with magnifiers for more details,

Scotty
