I found a hydro rear for my Turbo Diesel SS15, but the donor is almost too nice, I don't want to take it apart! I found a Bob-Cat T18B front mount mower with an opposed Briggs 18hp, hydro and a hydraulic lift for a great price. The hydro is tall so I would have to cut the rear frame or make a new one. I would have everything I wanted in the Sears but it might be easier to make some front mount implements for the Bob-Cat.

I would Say patience is in order. The ideal donor tractor will show up. No use to make it harder than it has to be. Don

I agree.  Think this out good before you dive in.  Personally, I would be fixing that Bobcat up a little and look for attachments for it.  When something with a good hydro comes along put that diesel in it and use the Crapsman for what ever.  A front deck mower is 10 times better than a mid or rear deck mower.
