I would agree with Lauson. Looks like a Tillotson carb to me. I would think it's probably original. Missing the flywheel, shroud and gas tank. The gas tank mounted on the shroud.

Its appears Lauson RSC

I have one on my small engine trailer

Tecumseh bought them out around the same time they bought Power Products Engines out

Its missing lots of parts, looks to be good for a parts engine
