Here I was waiting for LD to stirr the kettle and get a good thread going..
I have been doing more work with church and weekends are so full I am ready to go to work just to get my midday nap.

Well here I've been spending time in the house with the family when I'm.not at work Sat an.Sun I've been.in the garage but work is going slow on the Ford which is getting wire brushed to.get the loose rust off so I I can treat it.An same with my JD 300 but I'm cleaning grease of it trying to get it ready for paint its down to the steering column an frame rails so it's easy access. I've made a deal with two other forum remembers on gts traded for one an did some bartering to get the other I'll have both in mid March.

I been workin on three chainsaws, trying to get one of them to run longer than 15 minutes so I can cut some wood. That's my excuse and I'm stickin to it.

To darn cold to be in the unheated garage, did bring some of the sheet metal off my Wheel Horse inside for some custom decal installing the other day.  Just trying to stay warm.   Mike

Hard to do much with the typically rotten winter weather in this part of the country. If it's sunny it's cold and windy. If it warms up it rains. Rinse and repeat. Did get a portable green house set up in the garage and some peppers and tomatoes started for the garden. The plow tractor is sitting in the same place I parked it 3 months ago. I'm ready for spring!

My idea of seat time and the governments idea of seat time don't really line up.

My dad would skin me alive and hang me to dry, if he found out I blew off school to play around with garden tractors...

I want to mention for those of you with SAD/Cabin Fever, it's a good idea to take vitamin D pills. If you don't get enough sunlight your body won't produce enough of it.

If I didn't go bowling 2 days a week I would go stir crazy just sitting around with 3 lazy dogs. Need to go out to shed and at least start the tractor and mower to keep battery charged up.


Working OT, got build those Trucks!  Cloudy and blah!  Winter Depression!  What they call it SAD?  Stuffed all packed away for winter, had to make room for the truck in garage.....what a Dumb idea!  Wife's idea!  Yeah, I blame her!  There, that's done now on to business....hee!  I keep posting, but must be bad boy, see some of my posts removed.......I'll try to behave again!  Some people have NO sense of Humor.

Were you working at the GM plant when my 99 Sierra came off the line in January that year?

Simply Rad, been there since it opened in 86'.  We really started making the 88's first tho. The 90's were the best years there and at home for me. Now have 32 years in and not as FUN to work there, a lot diff now days. Work harder, less people doing same work, etc.  Probly same thing my Dad and Brothers said as they worked in the factorys, heh!

 Glad that I am not the only one with winter dulldrums. Got some snow today, things got busy tonight so I am looking foreward to snow removal tomarrow.

A bit of health issues which seem to be improving nicely slowed stuff up for a few weeks but this winter has really been one I want over. It snowed all day today and the wind had to start howling again in the afternoon. I would go nuts if there wasn't a heated shop in the backyard!

 The woodchuck is about to tell us our future, but no matter what he says I still have work to do. Maybe the little bugger can plan a tan or put on his work clothes for the next six weeks.

I've just had too much going on with Dad's health to have any ambitions other than trying to retain what's left of my sanity.  I hope to someday return to "normal".  Until then, I try to help here when I can.
