This is the only truck I have now. 99 ranger 2x4 4 cylinder 5 speed. Been a great truck. Dad bought it new and put like 30k miles on it before parking it for several years. He gave it to me with rusted off shackles, 4 flat tires, every brake line was rotted off, and every hose and belt dry rotted. I put about 1000 in it redoing all that. It has 130k on it now and only put a starter and fuel pump on it. That picture was 2 years. Paint us about wore off and the cab corner is rotted(only rust) so she is getting a new cab corner and fresh paint in the spring.

I've had several trucks over the years but the best was an 04 quad cab ram, 03 ford ranger and an 11 tacoma. No Really cool old trucks though!

The window tint in my rear windows was starting to peel. I had never applied this stuff so got a $10 spool and went to work. I am in the back seat area of a toyota pickup :( . This is not a job i recommend for anyone. As well I find I have to pre form the film to apply to side windows. I'm on the fence as to whether I replace tint on side windows. Good thing there are youtube on working with this stuff. That said...its only $10.  Shops want $200 plus to do my truck so a quote is incentive enough. Its not rocket science but definitely a skill.

I truly appreciate tint on rear window to stop sun glare.

I've been contemplating finding a steel flatbed for my Chevy. How do you like it?

I have one on my old Dodge I like it mine has removable side rails which are nice the only thing I wish it had is a tailgate so I wouldn't have to secure everything I put on the bed.

My truck running like crap and its modern engine ...well 1991 so I read and figure out it must be related to EGR system. EGR is Greek to me so I get out my books, gauges and get the garage toasty warm and pop the hood.  What stares out at me immediately.  One bolt missing on EGR line and remaining bolt is loose!  All fixed! :dancingbanana:

I should add,,, this is a excellent youtube on EGR. He is coherent, thorough and video is excellent.
