I know its a tractor forum, but a lot of us, maybe most of us have pickup trucks to haul the trailer to go buy them etc. I have had a truck of some sort most of my life. Much more useful than a car. I also like to sit above the traffic, feels safer to me. Some of my trucks over the years.

That '77 Ford is my someday truck, as in someday I'll have another dentside Ford.  What's with the bed, is/was it a modified Bronco?

Currently the daily is a '98 suburban with 454 and 4.10s, not much to look at so I never took a picture.

I've driven trucks pretty much all my life, in 1971 I got my "learner's permit" drivers license in a 1970 GMC Jimmy. I finally got that truck from my Mom in 2001---30 years later. We bought a '72 GMC C2500 in 1979 and we are still driving it. I guess they become family----

Awesome thread! I learned to drive on a 1976 Ford F-100 with 360 BB and four speed trans. We had numerous trucks , two 1984 Dodge D-100 one slant six other 318. 1994 Chevy K1500 and dad has a 2004 Chevy 1500 4x4. My work trucks were 2015 Dodge 2500 4x4, 2013 Chevy 2500 4x4 and a 2015 Hino 26' box truck. Pictures when I'm on computer.

I don't have any pictures of my old trucks.

But the most memorable trucks were.

84 S10
97 ram 1500
97 Ranger
91 Ranger
03 Ranger
00 Ranger
11 tacoma

I've had others but they weren't "memorable" to me.

Nice trucks, guys!

I've owned mostly trucks too and appreciate their capabilities, ruggedness, and power. Yes, they are a little more costly to drive due to fuel consumption but I feel the capabilities out weigh it.

Currently I have a 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty with a 7.3 and ZF6 and also a restored 1953 GMC 3/4 Hydra-Matic. My next project vehicle will probably be a mid 1970s Dodge Power Wagon crew cab that I plan to swap a 12V Cummins into and do a high HP build.

Keep the pics coming! :)

This one's not mine but I sure wish it was.  This '79 F150 belongs to my moms neighbor.  I haven't seen it out of his garage in probably 10 years.  He spent a ton of money rebuilding everything on it and never could get the hood to look right.  The hood was repainted at least 6 times and you notice its still a different color.

I stopped for a pic Monday when I went over to my moms house.

Enjoy!
