I was wanting to know what Hulk II and BOH both 1988 Craftsman II 917.255910 and 917.255914 would have cost back in 1988. I received this catalog page recently. I did a conversion from 1988 dollars to 2016 and was almost floored. These two machines are close to $12,000.00 today. Wow!

I have a 1978 GT18 if I remember correctly it was around $2300.00. It came with the Briggs and Stratton twin.

I remember being tempted by a brand new 1975 Chevy C10 at a dealership in October, 1975. It was a plain jane but was only $2700 plus the shipping and handling. Just to give you an idea of prices. Good Luck, Rick

Sure it wasn't an Onan?  Sears only used a Twin Briggs in 1978 in the GT16's and that was a limited run. They finally started switching to Briggs in 1980
