Check for output from the switch?

I checked every terminal on the switch, power at the hot terminal but nothing at the coil or any other terminal in the on or start position of the switch, could I have killed the switch when the charging system started working? Thinking the switch is the part that failed, not the relay.

I think you hit it there. Its been a while, but I am remembering 2 outgoing hots.

Yep, two outgoing hots, one ingoing, charge wire, not sure what #5 is, but switch is dead, do you by chance have a part number?

It is a common Indak ignition. I can check to see if I have a number tonight.

I'll just make note of the terminals, and take the switch with me to my local shop, he'll match it up from there.

One issue fixed, now for that ground wire.

It did it again:(, dig a little deeper and the plug for the ignition switch is crap at best. Got a new plug with wires, gonna splice it in and eliminate the most of the crap wiring in the process, can move it right now by hot-wiring the coil wire to the battery and crossing the solenoid.

And the saga continues, it's charging but not nearly enough, 11v at the regulator, wondering if the regulator is bad as the rest checks out.
