I drug this little tractor out of the woods and weeds a few years ago. Here is a link to the post.
http://gardentractor...&hl=+lawnmaster
I traded to a local guy and ended up getting it back from him recently.its missing most of the sheet metal but is very solid for having sat in the dirt sinking for probably decades.
If anyone has any sheet metal they would part with or an original 3 point hitch or good pictures and dimensions of the 3 point hitch please PM me. Porter Cable and early Moto-Mower should be identical.
For now I have a aluminum 8 HP Briggs on it replacing the original 6 HP aluminum Briggs.
Here is a few current pictures.

Well OK the title should read "Lawnmaster",not Lawnnaster.I can't get used to posting with the phone and with the tiny keyboard.
On another note,Lawnnaster really sounds like a brand to stay away from...just sayin'😂

Oh man ROJ,  I have been looking for one those for quite some time the grille just gets me, I settled for a very nice Porter- Cable but that's really the one I want, need, dream about what really kills me is there is a very nice one two miles from my home but the guy is not going to get up off it, I picked a trans up for him from TomLGTand delivered it to him its sweet. His is a metallic blue and silver color it was his FILs machine.

This little tractor is solid but is missing most of the sheet metal and the lower hood is rusted away Hank.I didn't realize there was any difference between the grills.
Did the guys FIL restore the one by you ? I talked to a guy several years back that had one like you describe and a few others that he had restored.
He sent me a lot of good info.
I found him and his tractor pictures on yesterdays tractors.

Yeah ROJ, the PORTER-CABLE is just a smooth face, they also made a model called an Aristocrat also very cool that guys lawnmaster is factory color looks awesome check with jabelman he may have some parts not sure what his plans are. You just don't see those gts everyday most people that see mine say I didn't know PC made tractors and never seen one. If I'm not mistaken they only made them from 58 to 60, and no that guy by me did not restore it.

Jason printed and sent some manuals to me,which I'm grateful for but doesn't have any parts to let go of.
You're right too,Porter Cable sold out to Duro corp ( parent company of Moto-Mower) in 1960.
This is the second Lawnmaster that I have had and it is a great historical machine but I really would like to find a Porter Cable.

Interesting history here for me.  Moto Mower bought Porter-Cable which at the time owned Rototiller.  Moto Mower was owned by Dallas Winslow, who bought up struggling companies.  Dallas also bought Frazer Farm Equipment, manufacturer of the Graham-Paige/Frazer Rototiller.  I have never seen any Moto Mower made Rototillers, not to say they were not made.  However the Rototiller name pretty much disappeared after P-C was sold to Moto Mower.
