I got a Kohler with no tag. I think it's a 241 or 301. Any idea what it might be?

Check the block around the pto side of the crank.  I've seen some that had the size cast into it in the recesses by the seal.                 Stewart

ID tag should be up under the coil.If it's missing the block might have K301 or K241 cast into the block on the PTO side just above the crank. But that's not 100% accurate.I've had a couple K241 blocks that were factory cast as a K301 block but bored out as a K241.

Only way to know for sure is to pull the head and measure the bore.

Here's the bore sizes for k241,k301 and k321

Number of head bolts tells you something too.
I think it's nine for a 16 horse?
