If that pressure gauge isn't broken it would be a steal for someone . We have them at work and before we got the digitals that's all we used . Its nice because you can get accurate readings with just one set-up . some how it doesn't damage the low pressure gauges as it goes to it's limit , just start reading on the next highest , then the third

I'll hook up the other Char-Lynn motor today and test it. Maybe a video of it running. Not sure if they would speed up with larger pump and bigger hoses (thus more volume and pressure). Trying to figure out a use for them. If they both work well on this pump, I may start a thread on them looking for uses.

Could one of the motors be used as a pump?

Don't thinks so. They don't turn over by hand, had to use channel locks to make sure they weren't stuck. Here's the #'s off the one motor.

               07 5

101 1002 007

And here's the #'s on the valve. HYSPECO 8-72. It just looks like a high pressure cut off inside.

I did some snooping and found the motors. They are an 'H Series', 4.5 cubic inch per revolution. Maybe someone can read these charts for me. The first one has a RED dot next to the 1002. that is what is on the tag.

Want some of that shipping back? I'll help out with it!

For anyone interested, I uploaded a manual on the Char-Lynn motors. It is here. The ones I have are the  'H Series' and they start on page 55 of the manual.

I was going to try out the other motor yesterday, but the carb float decided it wanted to sink. Took it apart and it has a hole. Someone put some kind of glue substance over it and the gas ate it. Got it propped up right and put a 300 watt halogen lamp shining on it to get the gas out. Worked pretty good. Then I got to thinking. I had another float, but where. Finally found it. I'll put it in today and fix this one later.
