Wow! Free stuff! I like that!  :dancingbanana:

The engine in the test stand is an 8 HP.  But, I'll take anything for up to 20 HP.   :smilewink:  :worshippy1:

Hi Kenny

You can have either or both.

Pump 1 is a 7-10 GPM at about 2000 RPMs

Decisions, decisions! Heck with it, send both. I'll help on shipping if need be.

On the first one, are those bolt holes for inlet/outlet ports?

I got to go out for a while and mess with this. Finished making the valve actuator (handle).

Here's the first thing to put on there to test. It's the cylinder that will go on the Cub.

Now for a muffler. I am debating on using this one. Just not real happy with the outlet direction. Stuck it on 2 different ways. I know I'll have to support it somehow. The first two pics has it back where I have to stand to start it.

Don't really want to use the 'pepper shaker' things, but may have to.

That on takes a flange fittings and the threaded holes are for the fitting

Who needs a 'custom' exhaust? I just use what's laying about.

It WORKS!  :dancingbanana:

Had to make a throttle control. That was simple.

DSCN2522.JPG

Filled it with fluid.

DSCN2523.JPG

Hooked up the cylinder for the Cub! Found out it has a 4.75" stroke!

DSCN2524.JPG

And that was at idle. It's very quiet. LOL Guess the exhaust has plenty of room in there to flit around. I'll see about a video in a bit.

I dug out the 2 Char-Lynn motors. That is the main reason for this. I had to see if they work. They are a 1" shaft with key. Monsters! Had to break out a 4' cheater to take the lines off them. Then had to go get some NPT reducers as they had 1/2"  and 3/8" NPT fittings. Got the one hooked up and it's good to go! Not real fast. Would make good crawler motors! Anyway here's some pics.

I think the valve hooked between was to control speed. One way was closed. Other is open.
