Dang, dang, and DOUBLE DANG :mad2:

I was out of town for most of last week, and was also awaiting some parts, so didn't get to work on the G10 until today.

Turns out that those "permanent spacers" that are on that mounting plate are not meant to be removed. In fact THEY are threaded, not the plate, and those are what secure the engine to the frame...gggrgrrrrrrr.

I looked at the mounting 'bars' for the hyd unit, and they aren't wide enough to drill out the holes so that the "spacers will fit through them. Guess that I'm going to have to have someone fab some wider ones with holes large enough for the "spacers to fit through.

Those 'troubles' just make it so much more satisfying when you get the job done and everything is working properly.

Plus, they give you good "War Stories" to tell when you are at show and talking to other guys about your Bolens. :D
