Good deal getting it running smooth again. It is always nice when it is something simple, it is just a shame the simple stuff is the stuff that most of us always overlook. I am guilty of it too.

While the carb was soaking I did those checks. The coupler felt tight and all motor mounst were fine and snug.

Good catch on the front wheels also. I never even noticed it and I still had to remeber to look. Even the rims are different. I just placed a want ad in the classified to see if any body has a spare rim laying around.

Thanks

It shouldn't be too hard to get one of those rims. Make sure you have a good look at the front axle, spindles and wheel bearings as they are another common wear area. I find it is always hard to see everything that is wrong with a tractor when you first lay eyes on it. If you are not familiar with the particular model there can be some unpleasant surprises. I had my share of them with the 314 I am working on. At least the parts are mostly still available.
