I recently bought a Iolens 853. The wheel pin wont stay in place because part of the ring on the drive collar is broken. I'm looking for another drive collar to replace it. Part # 1715725. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i have attached a picture. the only picture i had on my phone that shows the broken collar. it is to the left of the pin in the picture.

Welcome to GTT.

Check with some of the Bolens part suppliers who advertise on this site for a new replacement part.

Several members here have repaired their broken drive collars by welding, or epoxy build-up.

A hose clamp can also be used to keep the pin in place, if you want a quick fix.

If you check out this thread http://gardentractor...-project/page-2 in the last picture of post # 17 someone drilled and threaded a screw into the tab to hold the pin in on the 1053 I am working on - just another option to the hose clamp that you may be able to use on yours.  In post #31 of the same thread you can see how I built up the missing ear section on the original hub.

Mine is broke also on my 900 and I I did the hose clamp temporary fix 2 years ago and have had no issues yet.  I have a part bought but have not put it on yet.  tilled my garden the last 2 years with no issues using the hose clamp. Might add that is a nice looking tractor you got there.

That tab is easily rebuildable with JB weld. I have fixed my 1000 and my 850 drive hubs successfully using that method. Holding on strong since the repairs.
