Hey gang,
After Daniel mentioned it to me I realized I never posted about it. There were a couple times I started to type it up only to erase it and figure I would do it later. We are in the process of buying a house with my parents. It was kind of out of a whim, dad happened to come across a place near our old home town which has plenty of room for the 5 of us along with in-law quarters / and an apartment.

We currently rent a house and it is a nice two story with a two car garage but we are also in a development which takes away from the privacy. That and we can't really do anything with the yard other then mow. At the new place there is just over 2 acres and the nice long driveway to plow and blow snow and the mowing will give lots of seat time and we will be able to do a garden or whatever we want.

The best thing about the whole deal is we all get to be closer to our friends and family and dad and I will have more time to spend working on the tractors together.

The house itself is about 3,600 sq ft and has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The original two car garage was converted to inlaw/master suite with another full bath. The garage is right around 30 x 40' with two 10' tall doors and plenty of room to park my pickup and about 20 tractors and still have room for a workshop. Above the garage is a really nice one bedroom apartment with a full bath, kitchen, living room, storage. There is an inground pool which will be perfect for the kids and there is also a poolhouse which needs a little work but it has a bathroom on the one side and the other side will make a perfect bar and it already has a sink.

The garage has a heat pump for heating and air conditioning and also has a sink. They took the place off the website so I couldn't steal the pics to post but I promise as soon as we get situated I will post pics.

Between moving and going to two shows until settlement I will be here but not as often but I will try to do my best to check in as much as I can. If anyone needs anything site related please feel free to ask one of the moderators for help and they will help you the best they can.

Sounds like a VERY nice place. Nothing better than a place you can do as you want. I see a large garden coming! I know it is a lot to get done, but a worthwhile endeavor! Look forward to pics of the new place.
