Working on the Craftsman II I found a monster next in there. Usually if you find dirt dobber nests you wont find mouse damage because th dobbers sting them. A while back we got a car for scrap ad it had a mouse hotel in the back seat. My assassin cat had a field day in there.

My neighbor had 5 mice in his push mower.
He had me look at it to see why it wouldn't start. They chewed the coil wire off and part of the Plastic intake tube.

Strange thing is that the Mice were all dead when I took the blower housing and flywheel off and there wasn't much of a nest.

I've popped the hood on a few to put gas in and check the oil before starting and found 5 foot black snakes on the engine

Doesn't take long either. In a couple of days those mice can have the whole cooling shroud packed full. I hate those little buggers. Probably one of the most destructive little animals known to man.

I don't mind snakes, but when they surprise me, I cant help myself. I do my best "Lady-of-the-house,-standing-on-a-chair-cause-she-just-saw-a-mouse" screech. then regain composure and look to see if anyone saw/heard that.
