I finally got around to taking some picture of my Bolens H14 tube frame tractor. This tractor was given to me a couple of years ago, and I finally got some time this spring to get it started. The tractor had not been started since 2009. With the help of some starter fluid I was able to get it running. I got some help from you guys and was able to replace the tensioner spring so the hydro drive would work.

For $50:00 I picked up a never been used Bolens model 30242 plow blade with the sticker still on the front of the blade and want to mount it on the H14 for the winter. This blade fits the Bolens ST series Suburban tractor. But I think with a little modifying it will fit the H14. I'm sending some pictures can you tell me what you all think?

thought I put a picture of my 1953 Ferguson TO-30 tractor with a Wagner loader in the picture file.

I'm not aware of Bolen's much, but have new to me G14.  Your blade appears to mount to front axle tabs maybe? And your tractor has those tabs? The lift is just a link back to that lever on side for lift? Mine is manual, but yours has lift arm in same area. So, would think that width of the arms is going to be close or if not exact, bet one could spread those two arms on the blade to make that width?  I'm not seeing the lift link, but should be easy thing to make would think. I would have to see the blade up closer to the tractor to see if possible. Let us know what you find/pick.

The blade itself is the same as the original Tube Frame, but the mounting hitch is slightly different. They are quite similar, but off just enough that some modification will be needed.

I JUST did the exact same thing you are looking to do. All it requires is some sturdy angle iron and a good drill. Bolt the iron to the outside of the orignal plow frame and will be just wide enough to fit the original tabs. 20161124_221105.jpg
