Considering putting a different seat on my 1886-01. Anyone do this? Have pics? Model numbers? Since I am taller, I cannot use stock seat. My knees are in my mouth. :) Maybe something from tractor supply / harbor freight......

Thanks

I have done it many times. Just stop to think how to mount one and you will figure it out.

The tractor with the snow blower on it has a twin 24HP Honda in it.

Yep.  I got this one from AgriSupply in Florence, SC.  It's a Ford seat I suppose (It was blue when I got it), but I painted it red with vinyl paint, which worked awesome.  I highly recommend trying a good vinyl paint on your seat to more closely match Bolens colors.  Yeah, yeah, I know. The 1886 should be a tan or brown color, but I just liked the red to match the wheels...

383a.jpg Sure beats the boring black or, heaven forbid, the yellow seats commonly found at tractor supply places!  My 1253 will retain its original Bolens embossed seat though.
