Hello all, I'm looking for assistance it troubleshooting why my manual lift isn't working- I think I might be missing something. To jog some memories the 265 has the manual lift lever on the right rear fender next to the hydrostatic drive lever.
Here's the issue- I just purchased the manual front implement lift kit for the snowblower attachment and I have to pull the lift lever with so much force that I'm afraid it will break. This can't be the way that this attachment is designed to work. Does anyone have any experience with this model and blower? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to GTT. We try to be helpfull. A member that has the same tractor as you may be along to help. If you post some clear pics, more people may be able to spot the problem. A snowblower is a heavy attachment, as you said. There may be a helper spring to make the lifting easier. It would be best to get the manual. JD does not let us post their manuals. Someone may be able to help you with that. Good Luck, Rick
