I was talking to a friend at work about his mower. He was complainig about how cheap the bearings on the spindle were. I told him to blame yourself. He said how, I told him IF Craftsman(or whatever mfg) used expensive parts that would hold up they would be cost more, so you look at one at a Sears store and it is X amount of money, but made well and will really hold up, then you go down the road to (fill in the blank) store and they have them for 500 less, but you can't tell it uses cheaper parts, looks about the same. It has same HP engine on it, same size deck on it, you going to buy the cheaper one. So Sears has to make them cheaper to be able to compete.....

It's our fault......:deadhorse:

Nothing new around here.
My JD 318 mainly does sprayer duties and some ground work, the IH 782 and offset Swisher 60' handle the grass and weed control/cutting, and one of the 1655s handles ground work. Going to get the Snapper 1650 dressed back up with its deck for Grass and weed control so we can do some work to the 782.
