Friday, drove in garage, worked great. Saturday , won't start, turns over good. No spark. Checked and change plug. No start. So I leave it, thinking it will probably start tomorrow, because it's done this before. Sunday. Starts right up ??????
6 months ago had a good look at the solid state ignition thing. Checked triggers, wires and cleaned behind it. What else could I do. Could not see any thing wrong.
So any body have a part number for the key switch. 1976 mf12 gear drive.

Thanks, Noel.

I had similar issues with my Bolens 1455 with electronic ignition. It took me a while to narrow down the issue, but ended up being the module. The best I could figure was the internal capacitor was headed south.

Well, switch was $70,00 and had to be ordered, and your never sure what you'll get, so i fixed the switch i had, so now it will turn over, then replaced the solid state ignition module with another one and it started right up. Thanks every body for all your help.

Glad you got it going cheaper than having to pay MF prices.
