I just joined this site and im hoping that someone can help me on my up comming project. I just got a massey ferguson excutive. It was painted red but under the red paint it is yellow. Any info on this type of garden tractor would be great. Like the year it was made and all that. I do know it has a kohler cast iron engine on it and the mower deck is gear driven. I do have the identification plate but I have to clean it up to be able to read all the information on it. Also would like to know where i could find the manuals for this tractor that would have the wiring diagram and all that on it. the dash of the tractor has a oil preasure gage, amp gage, ingnition, light switch, cigertette lighter, and your throttle and choke. AN Y information on this tractor would be really apreciated. One thing i would like to know is where the battery is located at. who ever owned it put longer wires on it and put the battery behind the seat on a bracket they bolted to it. I dont know much about this brand im usually restoring Allis Chalmers. Thanks in advance.

I had an executive as a kid, and have missed realizing what I had at the time.

There are at least some brochures in the manuals area... I think a op manual also.

Please post pics, these are great little machines.

:welcome: to GTTalk!

Sounds like you have a treasure there. There aren't many on the market.
Please post some pictures.
I've seen manuals on Ebay
Other than that, I can't really help, but welcome to GTT.

Great people here, and oh yeah,:wewantpics:

:welcometogttalk: Welcome to aboard Inkman. If you go to the manuals section of the site (upper left corner) click on it, scroll down to Massey, click on that. Then go to page 2 you will find the down load for the Executive operators manual. It's pretty general but the wiring diagram is there and it's very legible. For service manual, check Ebay. Often times there will be one on their for sale for reasonable $. Good luck.

Are those stickers on top of the red paint or did someone mask them off when they painted?

Great deal. Save the deck if you can, they're rare.

And what's that thing on the front? Weight bracket?

Welcome, inkman. I would take some good pics of those decals and put some dimensions on them. You might find some one (Olcowhand?) to reproduce them.(Trying to drum up some more business for ya, Daniel)
