I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering. Where are you from that you have enough snow to be needing chains already? if you don't mind my asking

Im from Sweden, this week we had the biggest snowstorm in Stockholm since they started measure 111 years ago. We got 40 cm (16 inches) in a couple of hours. The traffic witch usually is very slow was completely stopped. The schools closed and people didn't come to work. Trouble is that we usually don't get snow this early so many people didn't have their winter tires on. I had and I got to do a lot of snowplowing at home and at work where we have a Kubota STV 36.

This is the Kubota we use for snow plowing at work.

10hr of plowing with this pretty heavy machine resulted in this kind of wear of the chains.

It is used on the front wheels witch spin alot and there is a heavy V plow on the front.
This is one of the 4 piles of snow I gathered.

I know the Kubota is not a GT but I use the same kind of chains on as could be used on a GT.
