This beauty is new to me and I'm just starting to do a little research and see what I've got. It has a tecumseh engine Model V50-60077E , Serial # 60077E I am having a hard time dating the engine. Does anyone have any experience with dating these based on serial number? I would appreiciate any info.

Also, if anyone is looking for a fun project for the winter, I would consider parting with this since I am out of inside storage space.  Let me know. thanks.

Check our Manuals Section for the engine info that you want. Good Luck, Rick

Some one here should be able to help with the engine dating. As far as selling it, we're notoriously cheap.

I looked through the manuals and I have no idea how to date this engine.

Went thru all the Homelite material I have and found nothing. Looking on google images I see some information from MTF that suggests it may be mid-early to mid 60s mower. Just guessing by what I saw. Looks like a good project. Just cant justify anymore at this point. Good luck.                                                 Roger
