I am a bee keeper and collector of old Massey Harris tractors.

realsmallbeehat.png

Removed bees from a building for a guy. Funny at one time it was a honey house and inside was this old Goodman 4 frame hand crank extractor. We use a W.T. Kelley 72 frame radial in our honey house.

Cutting caps of honey frames in August with a hot knife is hot work. but the honey flows so much better when it is hot.

This one is of my grand daughter. I keep this picture in my wallet so I can show people just how vicious honey bees are. I do get so tired of trying to over come media hype and B/S.

Beautiful grand daughter, nice to see she understands about bees. We had a "wild" swarm set up house keeping in the shop one summer, never had a bit of trouble with them, except they chose to live in an old fridge that we had left the door open on to air it out. Don't know if the queen died or what, but they packed up and left after about two weeks, so we didn't get any honey. Lots of commercial bee keepers up in this country.
