Yep, I took her off Craigslist this morning.  I'm gonna keep her?  Anyone need parts to a 1969 John Deere 110H (I have a plow blade, snowblower and mower deck as well).

I haven't put my compression gauge on it yet but I noticed I stays running at very low idle which might be a good indication (?).

I appreciate everyone's input and guidance!  I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions!

Smart move, taking it off CL and keeping it.  Smart!

I only own JD's, and I still think you made the right call! I'd love to find one of those at a price I could afford, let alone free! I'd say you will find the 4WD incredibly useful, especially in your snowy climate. Welcome aboard!

Great if your keeping it. I would too. I was wondering about the front wheels and tires. Mainly about the size of them. Are they the correct height for the tractor, because of its four wheel drive system. If not the correct height, that will cause trouble with the way the four wheel drive works.

I can't believe I didn't notice that, Noel. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll have to find specs on what tires/wheels I need.

This brings me to my first important question: Where can I get a shop manual for this tractor? Are they even available? I was able to get the owners manual online but I'm very uncomfortable with doing a rebuild without exploded-view drawings.

I sold my running JD 116 w/mower deck for $100, just to get it gone, when I got my G152. No comparision.
