Any tips/tricks for removing the drive shaft on a 990?

I hope to pull the motor off soon.

According to the manual I loosen the set screw and drive out a pin.

well I try to go by the manual but olcowhand is the best with the 990 maybe be he will jump in and tell his tips/tricks what's the best way to go about this later James

I got it removed from the engine and got the motor out last night.

I got it removed from the engine and got the motor out last night.


Was just getting set to post on this & was gonna say if pulling engine to just remove universal from crank after removing motor mount bolts.:thumbs:
