i couldnt believe what i saw. my friends wife cleans up property that is being sold. she told her husband, who works with me she was bringing in a junk tractor. well it showed up, in pieces, lots of pieces. it looked like somebody beat the oh160 with a 5 pound hammer.i mean someone broke the carb off, beat the living hell out of the shroud, busted fins off the flywheel, beat the head into a unreconizable mess, all this damage and guess what they didnt beat?? yep, the coil. the thing survived a hell of a ordeal to be sure. they belted the side of the block so hard it split the cylinder. i just about cried.it still has a lot of good parts, all the tires are good, front 2 are new chein ching ? cannot spell it. someone must have been real pi$$ed at this thing. ill take a pic of shroud tomorrow . i put the coil on my spare hh120 and i now have spark.

I don't think they were mad at the tractor, I think they were mad they couldn't take it with them, this kind of behavior is called scorched earth,if I can't have it nobody gets it, very common sad to say

Indians can be hard to get along with sometimes. Sounds like the Indian won that battle.

Or they could not make it run and go fed up with Tec engine.   I was close to that point with a S14 about 6 months ago. but sold it as a parts tractor in stead.  Head was sold separate right away so I would not haunt someone else.  Can always throw and good engine in the tractor and be good to go.

Probably wouldn't start one day when owner(s) were in a bad mood. Kinda like road rage on the farm. :hitting_self_roller:

My brother did that to my '68 Honda 50cc street bike when I went to boot camp in '90.  Still have no idea why but ruined a pretty cool little bike.

Have a police officer come out and take the finger prints from the cyl, maybe you can find the culprit  hahahaha

Wonder if it was dropped off a trailer or something?

Maybe couple going through  a divorce, wife took it out on husband's tractor?

nevertheless, sad to see. Save the piston and crank, someone may need one someday.
