i know where i can get a ff20 close to here for 250, it has a 20 hp onan, snow blade and mower deck.my question is it looks like a newer mower, not my usual 1969-73 , is it a cheap built machine? not to excited about the hydrostat but that is what it has. the tractor and implements look like they were washed and stored under cover, real nice. owner went to start it but of course the battery was dead.i didnt have a lot of time to mess with it, owner said 250 as is. what does everybody think?

That is a good deal, grab it now before someone else does.

No, really. Quit wasting time here, go load it up.

Built in the late 70's - early 80's, it was the biggest GT Sears ever put in their catalog.

They were built from 81-83 only. Grab it if you can. Does a good job mowing.

A few have popped up recently for sale around here $950 for a runner/ working tractor and attachments, $900 for the proverbial basket case.. tore down to restore and never reassembled with extra parts tractor, and an engine-less roller for $500. $250 looks like a good price. They are a good tractor for pushing snow or dirt, should be good for snow blower or tiller (I have never personally used one for that). These are heavy built gts that can do a lot more than just mow grass, in fact they are almost over kill for that. The speed is a little slower than I prefer and the hand operated hydro is kind of a pita on some jobs, but overall they are good tractors.

I hope it's already in your truck/trailer.

They were specifically built to compete with the JD 400, strong tractors.

Kenny's is one of the best plowing machines I've seen.
