Not sure if you have one out there or not. There are smaller ones by the same company. I noticed on the back it says designed in the USA, built in China. Hard to say but the HF ones may be using the same components.

As for how they do it, lithium ion batteries are a game changer, and even they are being rapidly improved. My son is an engineer, among other things, he says in ten years a battery the size of a quarter will be able to start any diesel. Price will be inline with what we pay today for wet cell 12v batteries with inflation taken into account. He says they will likely be packaged about the size of a deck of card and will plug into a distribution housing with all the wiring and such.
