Holding up a set of footrests from a parts Massey 7. They seems to sit in there nicely. Might be a winner on these also.

On a side note, I've been contemplating more engine power. I have a good k341 on the shelf awaiting something to power. Problem is, it's from a 300 which has the incorrect block. Anyone know what machines to look for that would have the correct "narrow" k341? Anyone have one they wanna swap with me?

I put a k341 in my uncles H-1 140, just swapped the oil pan and cut the mounting ears off of the block.

Short update on this project. I've spent some time accumulating parts and pieces to finish this build. Been occupied with an engine swap in my 1655. Now that it's getting close to completion, it was time to start looking back at the 140.

Got a set of 455 rear wheels and 26x12 ags.
Massey 1655 front spindles and wheels
18x8.50 front tires.
Massey 14/16 complete 3 point hitch
Sears rear fenders
Massey 7 foot rest.

Also, I found a K341 from a Cub 1650 which is the correct block for this tractor. If I can get the guy to come down on price, that'll join the club here.

I think these ingredients will build a sweet 140.20171104_150425.jpg 20171104_150442.jpg

Looking for some suggestions on a tunnel cover and seat mount. I’m planning on a metal pan seat set on a spring. I’ve been brain storming but no lights have turned on yet.

Gonna need something to set it for pushing around! That is built into the original seat pan.

It now has a 2 speed/locking diff rearend. So, no need for a hydro release. It now has neutral.
