What colour are they suppose to be. He wants $200.00 for it.

Looks to be a G14 to me.  6 speed with 2 reverse ranges, differential lock.

If its missing all those parts I dont think I'd pay that price. Missing sparkplug is also a little scary......

Black frame with white hood fenders and wheel rims.

When running right, those are great tractors. They are powerfull and very heavy duty. They were built in the 70s. That OH140 engine has a very expensive ignition system. I would be suspicious of that engine. Does it have any attachments with it? I would plan on replacing the engine if he can't demontrate it running. I would pay $50 for the tractor and $50 for each attachment because my H14 with plow, mower, snowplow, and tiller was a freebie. Good Luck, Rick

BTW learn how to move the rear axle pin inorder to roll the tractor. Also check that the pin retainer is intact. It is in the owners' manual.

Good tractors.  My G14 is one of my main work horses year around.  No air cleaner or spark plug cuts that price in have right off the bat.  Before you buy it make sure it has compression and spark.  If no spark figure on replacing the engine.  In this area a running side shaft is $150 to start with and goes up from there.

Hydraulic lift was available as an option or add on, but that one does not have it.. I just noticed that the manual lift handle is also missing. I would also check that all of the gears actually work. These have  straight cut gears and no synchro's, so they need to be brought to a complete stop before changing gears. It is not uncommon for the cluster gear to be chewed up because people try to shift before they are fully stopped.
