Nah, he buffed it and changed the oil.

Btw, the first seller stated the mower deck driveshaft was bad, and I don't see one in the pics from seller #2.

So has anyone emailed him and asked him if he'll take less for it? I'd give him $850 for his troubles and because he hates to see it go so badly.😂

I don't like it either, but to each their own I guess.??  I sold a newer lawn tractor that was well worn earlier this year.  It worked, but smoked pretty good.  I priced it accordingly.  This person showed up, tried to lowball me, and didn't get too far.  I come down a little.  The tractor was back on CL the next day for 3X the price I sold it for.  There were plenty of nicer tractor/mowers on CL for that price.  I don't get some people.??

He's not going to pull that kind of coin/profit out of that S16-H package in my opinion.  I've bought, bartered, and sold plenty of Ariens stuff.  He's not going to sell it for that much around here anyways.

This was sold from just north of the Twin Cities on Saturday morning for $800.

Ohhh boy, but he wants you to think that he's had it forever taking up space in his garage and now after all these years he is finally letting one of his prized possessions go to make room for other projects; heck, even his wife is surprised he's letting this one go. Uh huh.

Even my wife says it's too bad I can't keep this (hard to believe) but I'm selling it to make room in the garage to work on my other toys this winter.

These are the best tractors and simply has the best snow blower I've ever seen or used

There's already been enough snow to blow this season!?

and it throws snow 35' feet in a hurry to boot!

Did the previous owner tell you that or did that look like a good estimate from watching a YouTube video of one in action?

I also use it to catch grass to mulch the garden with so no more weeds and the garden grows like crazy from no weeds and holding moisture.

You would know best using it in your garden season after season, year after year.

I'm cleaning out the shop and already have one so decided to give someone an option to have a complete all-season machine!

How nice of you!!

I am also including with this to make this even more versatile a receiver hitch adapter for the rear to move your trailers, camper etc around the yard.. VERY HANDY!

So that's where the extra $1,400.00 comes into play...

I mowed the lawn with the Lawn Vac to test the deck and Lawn Vac out and they worked great.

You tested it? Buy why? You made it sound like in the ad already that you use it all the time for yard clean-up.

Receiver hitch came from first owner.

And the elevator weights that don't fit in the weight box.

Don't care for flippers that try stuff like this(doesn't mean I wouldn't buy something to resell, just would give it a realistic price), but when I saw the town name all I could think of was doot do do doodo!

If you read the last paragraph he states the previous owner just put new hydraulic fluid in it THIS SUMMER. Don't think he did any snow blowing with it then :rolling:

How could he try out the mower with out the driveshaft. And since there is another Ariens in the background, attachments will probably get switched. I guess I need to see what the dude has to say.

Good point! He contradicts himself quite a few times in the ad.
