Congratulations Dean! I’m sure you thought your hard work and attention to detail finally paid off, when you stood back and looked at your completed project for the first time. While that feeling of accomplishment was great I’m sure, I bet it feels a little better now! For that old guy to get such a great write up (not to mention the CENTERFOLD!), in such a well put together and respected magazine is awesome! Although I had seen that tractor many times before, being there while those pictures were being taken was defiantly the highlight of my first tractor show! I still can’t thank you enough for getting me into these old GTs, helping me out, and inviting me out to shows with you. Once again congratulations, you deserve it!

P.S. Thanks for posting this on GTtalk, now I don’t have to!

Dean,

Congratulations! The article looks awesome! I was at the show but didn't get to look at all the tractors. Very glad you were chosen for this article in a very nice magazine! Your tractor is very nice! I like the front weights too!

Regards,

 Chris

I got my very own copy of Legacy Quarterly today! I sent Gary a letter with my signup form, asking if my 1st issue could be the one we are talking about here. I got it, it is, and I'm happy! Not only is my friend's tractor in it, but I can show people and say "I was there!" lol. Pretty cool for my 1st issue.

Jimmy G, It was completely unexpected and I'm very happy it happened to me. I guess it was being at the right place at the right time situation. There's a lot of nice tractors on the forum and mine was just fortunate enough to make it in legacy quarterly. I'm just an amateur restorer. I restored a MF12 before this one and by no means is it perfect. But I can take pride in knowing I sprayed the paint (twice on the hood and fenders) and turned every bolt. But it this is also a shout out to everyone on here, without a site like this I wouldn't be where I'm at with my tractors. A lot of good people with helpful advice. Plus I was able to get Kbuzz hooked on these tractors like us! Thanks again everyone for the nice remarks.

2017 Legacy Quarterly Calendar Spoiler Alert!!!

So I normally like to keep each month a surprise on any calendar, however I decided to flip through this one. I got to April and WHOA! There is Dean's "Magazine Massey" MF14 putting it's 3pt hitch to good use, pulling a Brinly disc harrow! Nice pic, I know that back yard! I know you use all your tractors, but some people may think you don't, based on how nice they look. No better way to prove it, than a picture of work in progress! Congrats again!
