Hello all I have a stihl line trimmer that I want to convert to handle bar grips, its an fs 90 the new throttle has a cable and 2 wires one goes to the coil the other is blue and I think its the ground as the old cable was longer and was screwed to the body after the carb. I am assuming it worked as throttle and off, so would the blue be ground ??

Black is usually ground but since you didn't mention what the other wires color is.  I would think one would have a spade connector and the other a round connector and that would dictate where each wire went.  If they don't have any connectors then I don't see where it makes much of a difference where each wire goes since it is just and on/off switch.

Blue should be the coil then and the black should be the ground.
