The RAM finally runs, got it started today, got the carb adjusted, run great with no smoke.  I'm going to change the oil, and put everything back together, including the belt guard tomorrow, might attach the blade too(not sure yet.  Any tips for driving it? (It's a '59 BTW).  Pics tomorrow.

When someone's thread is titled "it's alive", it always gets my attention, HA! It's always great to finally get something up and running, congrats! The RAM's have always interested me since they have such a unique look to them. I can't help you out with your question, but enjoy the ride!

The title was half the fact that this thing was a long process/half in the spirit of the season.

It's always great to see another one come to life. Yours looks to be in pretty nice shape for the year.

I think it was restored sometime in the past, my theory is it was parked due to a bad coil.
