so everyone can understand,the box surround for the engine was wide open on top and the door you opened to pull start it was partially made of a heavy screen so I never had an over heat problem with it,I didnt know if you could tell that from the pictures.The motors themselves all just seemed to run flat and under load just wouldnt pick up,kinda like the governer wasnt working well if that makes sense,and non stop carb problems and exaughst plugging the screen problems and valve problems.the one that broke a valve spring actually ran out of gas and as it was stopping back fired 1 time,It never ran again,till it died it was actually running pretty good.I realize that is a lot of problems to have and can lead you in a lot of different directions but thats what was goin on with each of them :wallbanging:

Using an know good running, easy starting engine solves a lot problems.
