I thought I was done buying any more ride a matics, but That didn't last long. On the 23rd, my wife and I are off on another road trip to get 2 more tractors. I have the Bolens bug really bad. I am getting 2 tractors, mower decks and a sickle bar attachment, plus a bunch of extra parts. One is 99% restored, the other is a decent candidate for a resto. I have been to New Hampshire 1 time in my life, and this year we have been there 5 times, 1 for a wedding, the rest for tractors! All in 3 months. I will post some pics in a week or so, once I get them home. That will make 7 now, but still no 59 or 62. I'll leave you in suspense as to what I'll be getting. Boy, don't you like a good mystery??

Well folks, I just spoke to Barry and he did get the 2 tractors but had an incident while loading them. He loaded one, lost his footing and fell off his truck and broke his hip. He is currently in the hospital in New Hampshire still. He wanted me to update everyone who was waiting on pictures because he says he's gonna be in bed for a while recovering. So here are the pictures from the p.o. House before he loaded them up.

Bad luck to hurt yourself but at least you got two RAMs to work on when you are fully mobile.

Now that's dedication to the Bolens' Bug!  Fall and break a hip, but STILL posts pictures of his find!  Awesome!

Hope the hip heals fast.  Bummer.

Oh my, this is almost a bitter/sweet thread. Sorry to hear about your accident, and the troubles associated with being out of state. Hope your recovery is speedy, and all goes well.

I finally got a computer that I could get internet access today and wanted to check in with you all. Yes, broke the hip. I was moving a piece of plywood to extend the length of the tailgate while standing on the ground. Lost my grip and fell backwards onto my side slightly. Terrible pain. Turns out I didn't need to extend it! Off to the hospital in VT and then transferred to a NH hospital. I now have a rod and 2 screws in my right side. I'm in rehab learning to get around. The seller loaded my truck and also drove it over to the VT hospital, where my wife paid him. He was a saint to do that for me. My son in law came up and got the truck and brought it home for me. My buddy went to the house and unloaded it for me. They're under as tarp, so I'm happy.
I will be laid up for about 6 months.
I want to thank you guys for your posts and concern and especially to Al (Fonz3482 ) who has helped me with posting the pics for me. He is truly a friend to me and I am glad to have bought my first ride a matic from him. He gave me the Bolens bug and I'm glad he did!
