Getting new X739. I get a small amount of motor static on my mobile phone when listening to music while I mow. If I substitute in resistor spark plugs will I gum up anything?
Thanks

No. May not lose the noise, either, radio waves can come from multiple sources. Just jangling a bunch of keys creates radio noise, but it's a good place to start.

The spark plug wire is the source of noise, works like an antenna, resistor plugs will make the signal stronger, resistor plugs hold back energy and load the coil until enough energy is created to force spark through supreshion wires, before supreshion wires everything made noise, it may or may not cause arcing at the coil if you use supreshion wire's, my 1947 AC B has them for this reason but has auto type coil so no problems

I use a radio ear muff set and works good for both purposes.

That means you all ready have suppression wire's, their is an aftermarket add on suppressor for radios, they were also installed in GM's HEI inginions and look like a points condenser
