I have been offered a "Free" Troy-Bilt. Hole in the deck and PO tried to re-wire. Yep, same PO I got the JD from. Thinking of just Fixing and Flipping this one.

Larry it's MTD for sure! We had a few of them. Make some money back on it. IMO not worth you restoring other than for sale!

If you don't mind waiting a few months you can make more. I'm sitting on all my flip mowers until tax season because from then to July they sell good.

Don't put much money in that Troy Built.  That Intek engine is a cheapy engine to start with and might blow the next time you start it.  Got some hours on it or wouldn't be a hole in the deck already.

Those twin Briggs are ok , I did buy two, three machines with push rods off one side and one with both con rods broke. Had some good runners as well!

fixed up in the right time of the year I make about $600 a mower. But got to keep the cost down low or not make anything.
