Only 117X127
A real shocker because I grew up on 42 acres and the last 27 years I had the run of 100 acres. :(

That's our biggest problem. We want to buy a new house. We find a perfect house. Small lot. We find the perfect location. Bad house.

I have 2 acres now. But I want more like 5 to 10 acres...

We found a nice 4 bedroom 2 bath house with a 24x60 garage and a seperate mother in law suite. But it was on less than an acre...

I found a 4 bedroom 1 bath on 5 acres but man the house is rough!

The MRS keeps asking if I'll be OK with such a small yard.  Now I'll have to give up my big tractors [Ferguson TO30 and David Brown 885] but otherwise I actually look forward to not mowing my summer away.  I'm keeping the tractors for now but they will "live" at dads place. I'd much rather ride motorcycle[s] than mow.

I mowed 7+ acres here the first 20+ years and then I cut back to roughly 3.5 the last few years.

I'm sick of mowing!!!!!

Plus dad has a commercial building in town that is vacant that I'm going to start mowing this year as he's not getting around good as he once did and its only 3 blocks from my work and 5 blocks from our new house.  He helped us on the house purchase [a bunch] and won't take any interest so we'll help with his yard work.

If I didn't have two feet of snow on the ground I'd go down to the garden and eat worms!   ( old saying from my Irish grandmother)

Did she eat them or catch a lot of fish?
