I'm surprised I was the first one to post this, unless of course I missed it somewhere else. It is just me and the wife here tonight, getting together with her family in a couple of weeks. We are having a ham roast off one of the pigs I raised last year and scalloped potatoes. I must say we are having a good year and lots to be thankful for. The leaves are starting to change here and the view from the backyard is pretty spectacular. It will look even better in a week or so.

Jim

Edit, sorry the colours aren't showing very well in the pictures .

We had ham and scalloped potatoes last nite, and turkey dinner tonite, with my kids last nite and tonite. Kids are 26 and 22 years old. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family Jim. We are in the middle of a heavy rain and wind storm, all day today. 90k winds.

It is cool here Noel, but clear and no wind. I guess you are catching the start of hurricane Matthew? Kenny, I wish that was all my backyard. The white fenceposts are on the property line.

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends up North.  Had smoked turkey legs for supper last night and finished up the GF's tonight.

Thanks Jim, it's snowing here, but both the boys made it "home" for Thanksgiving. Roast turkey with all the trimmings, and we are mostly thankful that it's not -40C. like it could be, lol.
