My wife is extremely upset with the last line of my ad:

It's not like they're coming in the house, it's in the shed......

Copy of the text:

Category 1 King Kutter 3 point reversible 30" dirt scoop. Very good condition, stored indoors. Used on a 15 hp sub-compact tractor to dig out a ditch for landscaping, worked great.

This will not work on garden tractors with a 'limited Category One' hitch, it will not raise high enough to dump.

Cash only. Available to show evenings and weekends. Any offer thrown out without coming to look at it first will be ignored. Sold on a first one to show up with cash and a smile basis.

Equal opportunity seller, killer clowns welcome.

I do that too! just make sure you get some before the ad goes up ha ha ha!!!! I hate the people that don't come and look at it , they only want it cheap so they can turn around and sell it to someone else, I usually price things higher because of this, putting firm on your price doesn't help, people don't read, your price of $175 seems very reasonable to me, why not write $175 firm or accepting offers of $200 or better, that will confuse them. ha ha ha!!!

When dealing with the public, some times you just have to consider the source and ignore it.  A supervisor I had about 40+ years ago said "You can do more with a smile than any harsh words."  I didn't realize at the time how very true that statement would be in my 32 years dealing with the public.

What do you suppose the sleeping status will be when I forward your post to your better half and she sees you referring to her as a dumb ____???
