My buddy Steve bought a pair of flags for me last winter. Just now figured out how to add them to Alice. Made some mounts out of 1/4" IP and square tubing.

Now she's a patriotic showpiece! Even better, she's still a hard worker.

Good looking show piece.  Love those flags.  Not enough of them displayed any more.  Make a good tractor to mow a football field or move sand in the desert.  With all the stuff you have added better keep it strictly for show. :poke:

Well.......to each his own!  Never liked gadgets and doo-dads on a Machine myself.  First the roof, now this!  You'll be chroming stuff next! Where's some fancy wheels?  You in the Shriner's group?  :smilewink:

1/4" IP? looks more like 1 1/4". :smilewink:  Did you cut one side of the square tube off so it slides on the canopy frame?

The flag goes into the IP which is welded to 1-1/2 square tube with the side cut out. Glued some inner tube strips inside to help hold in place. Welded a 1/4" nut to run the bolt into to hold in place.

The inner tube will help keep it from scratching the frame.

Born to fly flags Alice looks very nice

Looking like a tractor that does attention entice

Inviting people to look her over and view

Noting the hard work that was put in by you

Getting Alice as welcome as a baseball game or an apple pie slice
