Should be 1 1/8".
I'll let ya know for sure in a couple minutes.I have a 1556 sitting up behind the shed with the pulley off.OH150 15hp ohv Tecumseh.Crank and pulley should be identical.
Just measured the crank and pulley with my calipers and they are 1 1/8" on the Hydro 1556.Not sure if the gear drive G14 crank is smaller but I checked the crank and pulley on a gear drive 1253 HH120 and it is also 1 1/8".

Ok, thanks guys! Looking into possibly swapping a motor into my g14. The tractor will just be a work horse so I'd like to get a higher hp engine for snowblowing and tilling duties. A good member here is trying to help me out with a motor. Hopefully it all works out!

Thanks guys for the help, but I have another question for everyone. The 16 and 18 hp tech. motors that are available to buy are 1" crank shafts. If my 14hp is 1 1/8" is there a bushing that can be bought to adapt the pulley to 1"??
