Just wondering if this is a pretty good deal. I don't know much about Bolens. It's only about 100 miles from me.

IMO There the best gear drive tube frame you can find other than a G14.Bad thing about them is that most of them that I've seen Including mine, had an HH120 Tecumseh engine in them instead of the Wisconsin TRA12D.

If it still had the original Wisconsin TRA12D in it and it runs decent then Yep that's a decent price. If it has the Tecumseh HH120 in it I would try to get it for around $175 maybe $200

It Does look like the Wisconsin engine though. The HH120 Tecumseh block doesn't have a flange for the mounting bolts. They just have tapped holes that go up in the oil sump from underneath.

Engine looks a bit questionable, appears non original to me, no delco remy starter either if it really is a TRA12D in there.

Got to love the word "rare" being used LOL.  It dosent look that locking differential knob has seen oil in 10 years either.......

He said that it's not the original engine. The original engine threw a rod. It's at his dads & he's gonna send pic of the engine tomorrow. He thinks a Briggs 14HP or 16HP.
I don't need or really want it, I just seeing if anybody on here might want it or me to pick it up for y'all. Maybe even see if I could do some wheeling & dealing with it or swap for some Sears stuff.
