i'm doing this so i can gain room in the main shed to get a good car in out the weather a bit .

its to be a free stand platform for some of my machines to reside on , it is an unusable section of area otherwise  20160923_173208.jpg , And eventually will have a roof over them too .

the frame come from a factory cleanup a month ago , which is 3 x 2 x 5/32 gauge steel c section ,

is 15 x 6 ft  and i have another frame the same to extend with if i want  later on

got a big enough shed to park my tractor in but it's full of my parents junk I told them they need to think of something because a lot of things are water damaged I'm about to jest move it in to the trailer we have and say go thou it and get ride of what you don't need

So in high sight keep it to your self and good luck

TC

where i am doing it is basically a wasted bankment area , can't really use it for anything else , i don't want to put post's in as there is old steel and junk that's got to be cleaned later on ,

so free stand is the way to go for a bit & if i want too i can extend the top end that length again ,

i hear the point with other peoples junk in the shed i have the same problem but i isolated that stuff to 1 separate section of the shed locked up , not my problem anymore

UPDATE

have now finished this section of the free stand platform 20161013_121902.jpg

it neatly stores 4 machines on it 20161013_123633.jpg still have to make a roof for the area yet but only as i get to it , the outer side of the floor is suspended by 3 chains from the main shed roof beam

i do have another section to go in but not until i clean the ground area under where it is too be set
